P.E gear is now needed on a Tuesday (Gymnastics), on a Thursday (GAA coaching) and on a Friday (Swimming).

We are learning all about the fantastic Roald Dahl.  We have just finished listening to 'The Twits'
Roald Dahl day is on the 13th of September and he would have been 100 years old this year!

All this week and next week will be Roald Dahl themed.

Roald Dahl/Quotes A little nonsense now and then, is cherished by the wisest men. So, please, oh please, we beg, we pray, go throw your TV set away, and in its place you can install, a lovely bookcase on the wall.

The main homework this year will be :
Table toppers
Master your maths
English in Practice
Fuaimeanna agus Focail
English spellings:  using your spelling activity sheet
An Irish verb a week to learn.

There will be reading every night:
Factual reading on a Monday and Wednesday nigh
Fictional reading on a Tuesday and Thursday night.

Also swimming begins on Friday the 16th of September.
